My name is Connor Nesbitt. I am a VR gameplay programmer with a focus on making multiplayer games

VR First Responder De-Escalation Training
Worked on a team to develop custom software for multiple clients internationally.
Led multiple contract-winning features such as camera-based hand tracking, custom input/tracking VR devices, and AI/NPC dynamic behavior. All of this as well as making sure it would be networked cross-platform across multiple users on both windows and VR android devices.
VR First Responder De-Escalation Training
Worked as the first employee of this start up of a team of 10 members.
Responsible for many development/programming roles such as, Multiplayer/networking features, AI/NPC behavior, Custom Input VR controllers, and many more.
Also was appointed to be a speaker at a VR community presentation to talk about our company to others in the VR space
Jazz club VR museum experience
I was sole contracter to work on this VR experience for Harding University.
Features:
Hand gesture-based teleporting locomotion
An optional controller detection mode that allows controller-driven smooth locomotion or teleportation locomotion
Optimized from an existing Windows first-person interactive environment into a standalone Android-based experience
Other responsibilities: lighting, art/environment assets, special audio, and dynamic props such as vehicles and NPCs.
My specialization is in gameplay programming using C# and C++ for Windows and Android platforms.
Some other aspects I have experience in are:
Networking multiplayer features on both Android and Windows platforms with cross-compatibility
Developing software integration for custom hardware
Procedural Player and NPC humanoid animations both integration and animating
Programming for high and low-level VR features for both standalone Android headsets and wired/wireless headsets connected to a PC
UI interface integration and UX polishing
Tool development for developers, artists, QA, and level designers
3-D Modeling in both Blender and Maya for both prototyping and feature-complete assets
